Bio
Promila has been exposed to yoga since childhood when her father would practice asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises) every morning. It wasn’t until 2004, however when she was searching for a way to create a deeper connection with herself, that Promila found yoga, specifically pranayama. Through this practice her body, heart and mind opened leading her towards freedom from the physical and emotional imbalance she had experienced for years. In the last three years, her yoga has included a strong vinyasa practice as well. Promila’s classes are focused on leading students towards total health, connection, and flexibility on and off the mat. She has studied with Baba Ramdevji and Swami Bawraji in India and has been influenced by many others.
