VEERA GARDENING CO-OP

Next meeting date coming in the spring. Keep checking back for updates.

  • Tired of paying high prices for your produce?
  • Wish you could become a more responsible consumer and buy more local produce?
  • Are you a food lover and want your food to be made from the freshest ingredients?

If you said yes to any of these questions, this is for you!

This group meets monthly to discuss our organic gardens.  If you are new to gardening or new to organic gardening, come to our next meeting and we'll get you started!  The members of this group grow what they can in their homes or yards (as little as a small pepper plant in a pot in the kitchen to a large organic farm) and then bring some of the harvest to the studio to share.  The benefits are 10 fold!  We meet new friends, come together as community and enjoy fresh locally grown organic produce in a wide variety and economically!

Our coop has a variety of support mechanisms to ensure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed as you go through the gardening process.  These support tools include:

  • Care Sheets for the specific produce you will be growing
  • Online forum to get all questions and concerns addressed within a 24 hour timeframe
  • Monthly Co-op meetings to learn about various gardening techniques

Our Co-op is lead by Morgan Dickerson, B.S. biology from UCLA.  She is a wife and mother of three children and considers herself a 'green mama' expert.  Morgan also owns and maintains her own organic farm.  Come learn about how to keep your produce organic and affordable!

$50 Annual Membership Includes:

  • Monthly Meetings
  • Organic Gardening Book
  • Organic Seeds
  • PH Meter
