Class Descriptions

VEERA Vinyasa Flow (VVF) is a dynamic sequence of postures linking breath with movement.  A vigorous practice in a slightly heated room provides strengthening and cardio, while increasing flexibility and balance.  Modifications for new students and elevations for experienced students are what make this class suitable for ALL LEVELS.

VVF classes are as diverse as our teachers.  We use Sun Salutations as the foundation and music from hip-hop and bollywood to classical.  By focusing on the present moment, the mind clears and the heart opens.  Students leave feeling revitalized yet at peace.  VVF is breathing together to create connection.

VEERA Vinyasa Basics (VVB)- These classes all follow a similar format, starting at a slower pace and guiding students through the building blocks of a VEERA Vinyasa class. Students of all levels enjoy this class. Those newer to the practice prefer these classes for the slower flow and the detail provided for each posture. Modifications for poses are suggested so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of each posture. More experienced practitioners enjoy this class to refocus on breath and presence.

VEERA Mellow Flow (VMF)- Even out your practice and wind down your week with this slower paced relaxing practice. Deep stretches, long holds and whole lot of mmmmmmmmmmm . . . . This class aims to take out those kinks in your body and even out your breath to get you ready for a new week.

VEERA Pranayama & Meditation (VPM)- Often in yoga classes you hear about 'Prana'. This word means much more than just breath; it is that which gives us life. In this 45 minute practice, learn to feel your Prana through Pranayama (breathing practice) & Meditation. This class will also relax you completely at the end of your day, preparing you for a good night's sleep soon after.
